I had the amazing opportunity to do makeup for Felicia Day (The Guild, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along-Blog, House) for her photoshoot with The Bui Brothers in Los Angeles.
Here is the behind-the-scenes video that The Bui Brothers produced. As you can see I had lots of fun doing her makeup.
For her headshots we decided to give her light makeup. We wanted her to look like herself and she has a very natural style. These photographs were taken on the streets of Los Angeles.
After her headshots were done, I took her makeup to another level. We decided to go more bright and colorful and play up the eyes.
I added drama to the makeup for the final shot at the bookcase. We decided to go darker to match the lighting and wardrobe.
